LABARINA - TIME AND MONEY

LABARINA.

Listening to a message by a renowned preacher

"Time is a valuable resource, yet many of us fail to recognize its importance. The wealthy part of the world understands that time is a convertible resource, more valuable than money. In fact, when people in Europe discovered the connection between time and money, they invented the clock to measure it.

Consider a student who spends six years at university, converting time into knowledge, skills, and wisdom. They can then use this wisdom to cure sicknesses and diseases, a valuable asset.

On the other hand, poor people often spend time trying to conserve money, while rich people spend money trying to conserve time. For example, two people wanting to travel from Lagos to Abuja might approach the journey differently. One might try to save money by taking a longer route, while the other might prioritize time and take a faster route, even if it costs more.

This is a fundamental shift in mindset. As the preacher said, 'Africa time' is often used as an excuse for a poverty mentality. But what if we started valuing time as a resource, just like money? How would our lives change?
