MY TESTIMONY EP 3 Fegor sitting by a stream, determined in his heart that he wouldn't leave until he got an answer. He learnt from his Pastor how meditation has transformed common men into uncommon people, and that obstacles are a must in every journey.  Fegor's friends came to the stream to fetch water but luckily for Fegor, he heard them before they got close, so, he quickly hid where he would not be seen by them. While going through the long list the young man wrote, the boss looked impressed but changed his countenance at the end. LABARINA Some complain about having to take their bath 🛁 more than once at dawn because of the climate change(heat), others complain of the lack of water to take their bath. The laundry men aren't altogether happy; they lack sufficient water to wash but are at an advantage for the weather(to easily dry their clothes). Then, there are the farmers who aren't happy at all. Worse is, the government doesn’t even seem concerned by the high rate of hunger. Those fasting aren’t really affected by the hunger strike as they only eat one square meal everyday.  What about me? Very early the next morning at 5 am, Fegor got out of the house. He left Fejiro a message, omitting his whereabouts.  The letter ✉️ read, "Good morning, big sis. I stepped out to do some findings, and I will be back by 5 pm for a family meeting with you all. Please inform Mama and Papa. And lest I forget, just incase that fool comes back, do not be afraid. I have informed my friends to be on the lookout for him”.  After calling his name severally and looking everywhere for him, Fegor's mother walked to her husband to ask about Fegor's whereabouts. "Am I your son's keeper? Go ask his sister”, he replied angrily.  Fejiro overheard the discussion, and with the note in her hands, she walked into the living room and handed it over to her mother(who after asking what the letter was for). She then handed the letter over to her husband.  Again, he shook his head and said, "I hope this boy knows what he is doing?".  “What's that?” asked his wife....

ARRESTS MADE The Police after being informed of Ovie’s death, started making arrests, picking up improperly dressed young men on the streets and also raiding every drinking and smoking joints. Informed about the whereabouts of a group of boys who were said to be accomplices of the crime, the police invaded their privacy and arrested two out of the three boys: Tosan and Ebele, missing out on the remaining one, Tega. LABARINA Yesterday was a whole lot for me. My routine was disrupted. Although I did some important things, I still felt a lot of things were not right and as I write this, I'm trying to work on the things that were left undone yesterday. Every day won't always go as planned. MY TESTIMONY Fejiro was discussing(lamenting) with her parents when they heard the horn of a car outside. “Isn't that your husband coming with your children from school?”, asked a customer.  Oghenecaro peeped through the window and affirmed, “yes, he is”.  The children after greeting the customer, happily rushed into the arms of their mother. While Oghenecaro was glued to her children, playing and asking questions, her husband was hooked up in a discussion with the customer who was his friend's wife.  (Oghenecaro later cut into their conversation). Mrs Oghenecaro while going through her son's result and exam papers got furious at the teacher for wrong marking. With the exam sheet in her hand, she shouted on the top of her voice, “honey, honey”! and then cut into his discussion with the customer. Angrily, she threw the exam sheet at him. After careful examination, her husband asked, "what's wrong with this?"  “You don't see anything wrong with it?”, asked Oghenecaro. “Who provides for this family? Who pays Ayo's school fees? Who pays the bills? Me or you?”...

HELPING OTHERS Two young men where walking into an office building for a job interview. One of them saw an elderly woman(a cleaner) around her mid-50s carrying two buckets of water on each hand.  He offered to help her but his friend sped up and got way ahead of him in the queue. When he returned he was greatly discouraged looking at where he was and where his friend is. But he kept his calm even when his friend was mocking him from afar.  While they were waiting, he was called into the office and there he met the cleaner he assisted smiling at him.  The boss turned to the cleaner and asked, 'Is that all?' no, sir, the cleaner replied. Please give him the job. ‘Done’, said the boss. ‘Is that all?’, asked the boss. No, sir, replied the woman. Give him a good position and salary. Done. ‘Is that all?’ Yes, sir. That's all for now. TEACHER AKANNI  Akaani, a new teacher in Ogiame Primary School, Warri, Delta state, was observed by other teachers and pupils to be very diligent and punctual. His honesty was top notch. He was very responsible, accountable, disciplined and a man of integrity. Advised by the headmaster and other teachers not to drain himself because of government work and children that are good for nothing, Akaani turned deaf ears and kept on doing what he believed was best. But unfortunately, little by little, the people and environment directly and indirectly started influencing him negatively.
