LABARINA - QUIT TALKING AND GET TO WORK

LABARINA - GET TO WORK

"I used to have a friend who boasts a lot, but never delivered. He'd say, 'I can do that better than that guy,' but I'd never seen him do it. He'd claim he could do things easily, but I'd never seen any results. I learnt from the book "RICH DAD POOR DAD BY Robert Kiyosaki" that it's not about being the best writer, but about being a best seller. You can be great at writing, but if you can't get people to read your book, what's the point? Some people not good as you are may get a large audience, earning more than you, even if you're better at writing.

"It's not just about being professional; it's about get it to a customers, satisfying them and showing results. If you claim to know everything, you should be able to show us the fruit of your labor. Without results, there's no evidence, and no one will believe you. So, quit talking too much and get to work!"

LABARINA - CHOICES AND DECISIONS

CHOICES AND DECISIONS

Hey, let's break down the difference between choice and decision. A choice is selecting from multiple options, while a decision is committing to a choice ¹. Think of it like a restaurant - you choose from the menu (selection), and then you decide to order (commitment).

Now, let's talk about what prompts us to make choices and decisions. It's a combination of our thoughts, feelings, and circumstances ¹. Sometimes, we make choices based on logic and reason, while other times, we rely on intuition or emotions.

Reflecting on our values, goals, and priorities can also influence our decision-making process ¹. Additionally, considering the potential consequences of our choices and seeking advice from others can also play a role.

Remember, the wrong choice or decision can have negative consequences, but it's also an opportunity to learn and grow ¹. So, it's essential to be mindful and intentional when making choices and decisions.

LABARINA - PLAN B

LABARINA: PLAN B

"Approach relationships with respect, humility, and genuine connection. Avoid having a long list of potential partners and assuming they'll all say yes. Each person has their own agency and may say no. Having someone as a 'plan B' can be disrespectful and undervaluing.

Recognize the value of each individual and don't be overconfident in your options. Relationships aren't about checking boxes or having a backup plan. It's about connecting with someone and valuing their feelings and autonomy.

Remember, the wrong choice or decision can have negative consequences. Be mindful and intentional in your approach to relationships. Prioritize respect, communication, and mutual respect. Don't take people for granted, and be open to learning and growth."

LABARINA "Reflections on Honor and Dishonor

"Reflections on Honor and Dishonor

As I prepare for Bible study, I ponder the question: have you ever felt dishonored or underappreciated? It's a painful feeling, isn't it? But surprisingly, it can also be a transformative experience.

When we feel dishonored, we begin to understand the value of honor and the pain of being undervalued. It's a lesson that can help us grow and become more empathetic towards others.

I've had my share of feeling dishonored, and I've also been on the other side, dishonoring others. But through it all, I've come to realize that honor is a fundamental aspect of our relationship with God and with each other.

Just as we feel pain when we're dishonored, God feels the same way when we dishonor Him through our actions and choices. It's a sobering thought, isn't it?

Let's strive to honor God and others in all we do, recognizing that our actions have consequences. And when we feel dishonored, let's use that experience to grow in empathy and understanding."

LABARINA - Reflections on Criticism and Empathy

Reflections on Criticism and Empathy

I recently reflected on the saying, "If you can't do twice what someone has done, don't criticize them." This resonated deeply with me, as I realized how easy it is to criticize others without truly understanding their experiences and challenges.

As leaders, we must be mindful of our criticism and ensure we have a deep understanding of the situations and perspectives of others. It's easy to judge from afar, but we must put ourselves in others' shoes and recognize the challenges they face.

I learned this lesson from my experiences in different roles, such as being a traveling minister and a pastor. Each role has its unique challenges, and I've come to appreciate the importance of empathy and understanding said Kenneth E. Hagin

Just as a doctor must understand the patient's suffering, leaders must understand the struggles of those they serve. We must be willing to walk in others' shoes and recognize the challenges they face.

Let's be careful not to criticize others without first understanding their experiences. Remember, if you haven't done twice what someone has done, don't criticize them. Instead, seek to understand and offer support."
