GOD IS JUST

GOD IS JUST

The Bible asks, “Can a mother forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?” Yet, it declares, “Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you” (Isaiah 49:15, ESV). God is indeed just. A woman tried to abort her pregnancy but failed, only to strangle her innocent baby after enduring the pain of childbirth. How heartless. What could drive someone to end a life they did not create? Only God, the woman, and the forces of evil that led her astray know the truth. Now, she faces the consequences of her actions and lives with the regret of her terrible decision.

Her choice may have been influenced by a lack of wisdom or her circumstances—she came from a poor, broken home. Yet, life is about choices, and she chose a tragic path. Now, she faces the consequences. May God have mercy on us all.

BIRDS OF THE SAME FEATHER RESEMBLES EACH OTHER

BIRDS OF A FEATHER RESEMBLES EACH OTHER

The saying goes, “Birds of a feather flock together,” or rather, they resemble one another. You become what you behold. Consider the harlot in the Bible who killed her own child, stole another woman’s baby, and was willing to let King Solomon divide the living child (1 Kings 3:16-27). Thank God for Solomon’s wisdom and the true mother’s discernment, which saved her baby. Those women were roommates, yet one was destructive. Likewise, some friends may have destroyed their own destinies and are ready to ruin yours. Be cautious about who you seek advice from. Remember Jonadab, who counseled Amnon to his ruin, leading to his death and causing great sorrow to King David (2 Samuel 13:3-5, 28-33). Only a fool seeks advice from someone determined to remain foolish.
