LEADING FROM THE BACK

"A man sought leadership by any means necessary, exhibiting arrogance and eye-service. Fortunately, the local army's new leader recognized his potential and appointed him to lead a front line. However, when war broke out and the new leaders were called to action, the arrogant leader's true colors showed.

He ordered his group to move forward but was surprised to see the other leaders standing at the front of their groups. 'Why are you standing in front?' he asked one of them. 'We're the leaders,' they replied. 'Our boss' order is clear: leaders stand in front.'

The arrogant leader was taken aback. 'I thought we were supposed to stand at the back,' he said. But the boss corrected him, 'A leader doesn't lead from behind. I've shown you the way by leading the entire company.'

Before the arrogant leader could escape, the order was given, and all leaders were told to march forward. The arrogant leader, now filled with fear and agony, reluctantly moved forward, shivering excessively."

This story highlights the importance of leading by example and accountability in leadership. The arrogant leader's approach is contrasted with the boss' selfless leadership, demonstrating that true leaders prioritize their team's safety and well-being.
