MY TESTIMONY - EPISODE 1

MY TESTIMONY

Fejiro was discussing(lamenting) with her parents when they heard the horn of a car outside. "He is here", cried Fejiro, as she and her parents hurried outside due to the prolonged noise from the car. 

Immediately she stepped outside, she was greeted with series of abuses from Emeka, claiming she purposely ignored him. Fejiro tried to defend herself by arguing with him, but her parents who were initially disregarded by Emeka, pleaded with her to apologise, which she did. Again, her parents greeted Emeka with the normal words, "my in-law", but he answered them with disrespect, waving at them and walking to the car. Then with a commanding tune, he said to Fejiro, "come over here and get in the car". 

Fejiro looked at her parents who motioned her to follow him, and she obeyed reluctantly which forced Emeka to step out of the car in anger, and this time, he yelled at her, "Are you stupid? Are you okay? I said you should get in the car. Why the delay? “Step into which car?

She goes nowhere” (a voice from the backyard echoed). 

Quickly Fejiro retraced her steps backwards and climbed the pavement. 

“Who is that?” replied angry Emeka. 

It is “I”, Fegor, as he walked out with a sword 🗡️ in his hands.

 “My sister goes nowhere and you have to leave right now. It's either you leave alive or you will be carried away, of course you know I mean, your corpse”.

My in-laws, Emeka turned to Fejiro's parents, what sort of nonsense is this? 

“Are you out of your mind, Fegor?”, asked his mother. 

“Yes, I am”, replied Fegor. 

“Will you drop that sword and get into the house”, Fegor's father demanded. 

“I will only drop this sword somewhere, and that is on this man's neck if he doesn't leave here in a minute”. Immediately, Fegor began to charge towards Emeka, who hurried into his car and drove off. 

“I hope you have plans of feeding this family and sending your sister to the higher institution?” after chasing away our destiny helper. 

“That is not my responsibility”, replied Fegor. It's his (pointing at his father), who after nodding and bowing his head, walked inside highly disappointed, and was immediately followed by his wife who shook her head and hissed. Before she stepped in, Fegor called her attention. 

“Mother, if you think that man is a Destiny helper, then you must be a very greedy and wicked person like your husband”.

“Don't say that”, said Fejiro. 

“With all these bruises on you that I see?”, replied Fegor. Let's call a spade, a spade! 

After their mother left, Fejiro gave her younger brother(Fegor) a big hug, deeply appreciating him for acting like a man and standing up for her. 

“Anything for you big sis”, replied Fegor. 

Seriously speaking, “Do you have any plan in mind?” Fejiro asked Fegor. 

After some moment of silence, Fegor replied, "I will let you all know tomorrow".
