AUNT CARO

“Where is Samson?”, asked Sis Caro. 

“That one, he's not serious. He doesn't have what he claimed to have for me”, replied Tamar. 

“How do you mean?”, Sis Caro asked further. 

“He left after discovering that I have a child”, Tamar replied while bathing her child.

“I told you to hide it from him, no man wants to bear an extra burden, especially when it's even another man's child. Their ego won't allow them”. 

“That you aren't a virgin is hard to bear, now adding the product of your disvirginity is harder to chew”, said Sis Caro.

“I can't hide it from him, I can't lie, and besides, alienation from my child is not an option, she needs me”, Tamar objected.

“Hey, I told you to take her to a child care center, everyone does it, you aren't the first, neither will you be the last. You are just too soft for my liking”, Sis Caro complained.

“That is why you were able to lure me into this mess in the first place, I shouldn't have listened to you”, lamented Tamar. 

“That was in the first case, we were both victims and also naive, but I acted fast and was brave enough to get rid of my pregnancy, but you acted like a coward, listened to Mama's advice, and saved the baby, thus, your problem”, Sis Caro spoke firmly.

“We all know that children are gifts from God, but having them at the wrong time is burdensome”, replied Caro.

“I will be on my way now, my husband is calling”, Caro said. 

(She offered the young child some money, but the child refused to collect it, her mum then collected it on her behalf).

YEARS AFTER ...

“Thank God you didn't listen to me, here is your child graduating, and your armies surrounding you, plus your general standing by your side. Now I know I am the coward. I couldn't stand the shame of having a child”, lamented Caro. 

“It is well, Sis Caro. God is in charge”, Tamar encouraged. 

(At home, Caro was continuously consoled by her husband because she wept bitterly everytime; day and night regretting her past)

AT THE CHURCH

“Everyone that I have prayed for has received their miracle, so why is yours different? What's actually the matter with you?”, inquired the Pastor.

The pastor’s mouth opened in shock when the woman narrated her problems to him. And from that day forward, he started to avoid Sis. Caro. Obviously aware that the Pastor was avoiding her, she couldn't hide her disappointment, and her bitterness increased. 

One day after listening to a Preacher online, Caro became courageous and like Hannah turned to God and cried bitterly. 

Days later, she had a dream of herself in a theatre, and a man dressed like a doctor operated on her. He wore on her private part an animal skin, and immediately out of fear she woke up and found herself menstruating; what she hadn't in years. 

She later took in and gave birth to a set of triplets.
