It's either of two things if you notice that your absence is not felt.

1. It's either you are useless or

2. You are useful.

Number 2 is better as you will all agree with me, but not in all cases. A good leader should be missed but not for long because he has trained another who can do better than him. 

The fact is that my Secretary's absence played quite a significant role in my input and output. She was extremely missed! I must confess 🥲.
