An interviewed politician after claiming that he could do anything for the nation, was asked a question by the interviewer.

"Can you serve in office for three months without a salary?"

“No! Not at all”, replied the Politician. 

“But you just said that you can do anything for the nation”, said the interviewer. 

“Not in that case”, replied the Politician. 

His aide was signaling him to say ‘yes’ or wave off the question, but he misunderstood him and fueled an argument. 

"I can't stay in the office for a day without a salary, talk more, three months. A laborer is worthy of his wages and besides, the main reason I'm going there is because of the money”, he stated emphatically.

His aide replied with a disappointed look. 

“Why the look?”, asked the Politician. 

“You just said that on camera, Sir”, replied the aide heavily disappointed. 

“Did I?”, asked the Politician as he turned to the interviewer. 

“Are you recording? You are not going to upload that I believe, please”, he begged. 

“You forced me into having this interview, I never wanted to”, he lamented to his aide. 

“We are live, sir, and with almost 500k viewers”, replied the interviewer.
