"Today was a blessed day, filled with valuable lessons to share. I firmly believe that a lesson learned should be shared for the benefit of others, so they can avoid similar struggles and wandering in the wilderness (Psalm 107:7). As the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:11, "These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come."
Some people might say, "But Samson slept with Delilah" (Judges 16:4-20) or "David did the same with Bathsheba" (2 Samuel 11:1-5). However, we must remember that some of their stories serve as warnings, not examples to follow (1 Corinthians 10:6-12). Let us focus on the heroes of faith who demonstrated obedience and trust in God (Hebrews 11:1-40).
As the Holy Spirit inspires me, I urge you to "live the best part" of their stories and not major on their errors (Romans 15:4). Let us learn from the past and press forward in faith, putting God first in all we do (Matthew 6:33).
