LABARINA - LOVE & SACRIFICE
"Apostle Joshua Selman once said, 'If you see someone who truly loves you and cares *sincerely*, don't and never take them for granted.' This resonates deeply with me. As the Bible warns, 'Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.' (Matthew 7:15)
We should measure love by sacrifice, just like God and Abraham's story. God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, the one he loved. *'Take your son*, *your only son*, *whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah.* Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.' (Genesis 22:2)
This is a powerful example of what it means to love and sacrifice. It's easy to say 'I love you,' but how much of ourselves are we willing to let go of for the other person? Are we willing to make sacrifices for their benefit? Or do we just use the phrase 'I love you' for our own sake? Let's reflect on our actions and ensure we're showing love through sacrifice, just as God demonstrated His love for us."
