LABARINA

 We'd rather reach for the holy water, handkerchief, and other quick fixes, but refuse to dedicate time to prayer, reading, and studying the Bible, as Joshua 1:8 says:

"Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night and be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." (NIV)

Are we not all frauds? We want instant gratification and can't spend even two hours with God daily. We rush to say "Amen" to prayer points that seek harm for others, revealing our ignorance. Psalm 1:1-6 and Joshua 1:8 hold the answers to our questions, but we prefer the shortcut to nowhere.

Let's drop everything and focus on God once and for all. Stop chasing the wind and wasting time. We can't expect God's attention without dedicating time to Him. Discipline and focus are essential to overcome the error of distraction. Let's separate the good, bad, and right, and follow what is right."
