LEADERSHIP
FADE IN:
INT. LEADER'S OFFICE - DAY
The Leader, a middle-aged man with a stern expression, sits behind a large desk. His Personal Assistant (P.A.), a younger man with a nervous demeanor, stands before him.
LEADER:
(irritated)
What is this?
P.A.:
(nervously)
It's the budget for the teachers' salaries, sir.
LEADER:
(impatiently)
Okay! Where do I sign?
P.A.:
(hesitantly)
Here, sir. (points to the spot)
The Leader quickly scans the document, his expression turning to disbelief.
LEADER:
(outraged)
This amount is too much for a teacher! Slash it in two!
P.A.:
(hesitantly)
But, sir... I don't think that's a good idea.
LEADER:
(firmly)
Slash it!
P.A.:
(resigned)
Okay, sir. What if they complain?
LEADER:
(scoffs)
Do they have a choice? Neither do they have a voice. We'll bribe their leaders to shut up. What work are they doing, anyway? Just teaching?
P.A.:
(unsure)
And what are we going to use the rest of the money for?
LEADER:
(irritated)
We will dispose of it. (pauses) Idiot! What kind of question is that? Send it to my account!
The P.A. looks taken aback by the Leader's outburst, but tries to maintain his composure.
P.A.:
(nervously)
Yes, sir.
The Leader dismissively waves his hand, and the P.A. quickly exits the office, looking concerned.
FADE OUT.
