PAST SUCCESS
Assistant: "You've done an excellent job! Why not take a break and rest?"
Pastor: "I'll take a break, but I won't rest. My work on earth isn't done yet."
Pastor: "Remember, past success can be an enemy of progress. What we accomplished yesterday or even a minute ago is already in the past. My prayer for you is that you'll never have a better yesterday. God is more concerned with your present actions and future potential than your past achievements."
Moral Lesson: "Don't get complacent with past achievements. Instead, focus on present actions and future growth. Remember, God is more interested in what you're doing now and what you're becoming, than in what you've already done."
