The office is bustling with staff members working at their desks. Suddenly, Suraju bursts in, exuding arrogance.
SURAJU
(to staff)
I need to see the boss! Now!
STAFF 1
(calmly)
Sir, please lower your voice and calm down.
SURAJU
(boastfully)
Do you know who I am? I'm about to make a massive deposit!
The staff exchange annoyed glances but take a step back, intrigued.
STAFF 2
(whispering)
Who is this guy?
Just then, the Boss walks in with a friend. Roland, the bank manager, approaches Suraju.
ROLAND
(whispering)
Excuse me, sir. We have a situation here.
BOSS
(concerned)
What's going on?
ROLAND
(discreetly)
This man (points at Suraju) is causing a scene. He claims he wants to make a huge deposit but is being disrespectful.
BOSS
(calmly)
Ah, I see. Bring him to my office.
Roland nods and approaches Suraju.
ROLAND
(firmly)
Sir, the boss wants to see you.
Suraju looks surprised and follows Roland to the boss' office.
INT. BOSS' OFFICE - MORNING
BOSS
(to Suraju)
Ah, sir, please have a seat. Sorry for the inconvenience.
SURAJU
(sitting)
Thank you, sir.
BOSS
So, I hear you want to make a huge deposit?
SURAJU
(proudly)
Yes, sir! 100 million naira!
BOSS
(impressed)
100 million naira? Or billion?
SURAJU
(sheepishly)
Hundred million naira...
BOSS
(smiling)
Please, go with my bank manager, Roland. He'll attend to you.
Suraju looks confused and disappointed. The boss' friend also looks surprised.
ROLAND
(firmly)
Let's go, sir.
Suraju reluctantly stands and exits with Roland.
CUT TO:
BANKING HALL
Walter, a friend of Suraju, approaches him.
WALTER
(teasingly)
I thought you were broken, not broke! But I was wrong. Money indeed reveals the evil in you, your true character.
Suraju looks embarrassed as the scene fades to black.
