LABARINA - FOCUSED - NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE

"When I walk, I often become so focused on my destination that I don't notice the people around me. Many have commented that they tried to greet me or get my attention while I was passing by, but I didn't even flinch. Sometimes, I even walk right past someone I'm meant to meet without recognizing them until they call out to me. My mind is usually preoccupied with prayer, meditation, or my thoughts, making me oblivious to my surroundings.

This happened again yesterday when I saw two ladies talking, but I quickly looked away, fixated on my journey. One of them called out to me, and I was surprised to realize she was a member of my church. She might have thought I saw her initially, but I didn't. It's not uncommon for me to be so focused on where I'm going that I miss what's right in front of me.

While being focused has its benefits, it can also lead to missed opportunities and wasted time. If only I had noticed earlier, I might have saved myself some effort and gained valuable insights. It's a reminder to strike a balance between focus and awareness."
