THE FEMALE MINISTER'S STORY

While having a discussion with some persons today I told them this story...

"A female minister was once told my mum about the children in her care. She began with, 'These children are my responsibility now. They are the children of my late sister.' She went on to explain that her sister had been a wealthy woman, but also had many debtors. In an attempt to recover her funds, her sister had sent a message to her debtors claiming she was ill. The tactic worked, and people began to pay her back. However, in a tragic turn of events, her sister eventually fell genuinely ill and lost her life.

Moral lesson: The female minister used this story to illustrate the importance of integrity and honesty. Her sister's initial deception may have seemed justified, but it ultimately led to her downfall. If she had been truthful and transparent in her dealings, she might have avoided the consequences of her actions. This story teaches us that honesty is always the best policy, even in difficult circumstances.

As the Bible says in Proverbs 10:9, "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out."

Additionally, the story highlights the importance of being mindful of our actions and their potential consequences. Our words and deeds have power, and we should strive to use them wisely. As the female minister would say, 'Let us conduct ourselves with integrity, for our actions will ultimately determine our fate.'"
