LABARINA - THE FAMOUS GOAL KEEPER
"I read an interview with a footballer who was coming out of retirement, and he was asked about his smoking habit. He admitted to smoking but said he wouldn't change for anything. What struck me as odd was when he added that he doesn't smoke in front of his kids. I thought, 'Wait a minute, you're being interviewed on TV, and your kids might be watching this! How does that make sense?'
It seemed insincere to me, like he was trying to downplay or justify his smoking habit. If he's willing to admit to smoking in an interview, why claim he doesn't do it in front of his kids? It's a bit contradictory, don't you think? As a public figure, he should be aware that his actions and words have an impact on his fans, especially children. It was a strange response, and I didn't buy his reasoning."
