LABARINA - MINI SUPERMARKET
I'm aware that most people might be wondering why I'm writing about everything. Well, let me clarify - I'm a writer, and this is what I do!
I recall a similar incident years ago when a guy got angry on Facebook because I was taking photos during my trip to Lagos. I visited Sound City, Trace, and various television companies, and I couldn't help but snap away. The guy was annoyed, asking why I was taking so many photos, as if it was my first time in Lagos!
Fast forward to my recent visit to Ekpoma, I noticed a significant upgrade in most stores. What struck me was that almost everyone is now into the food business - it's all about food, food, food! I see this as a clever business strategy, catering to the high demand from students who consume a lot. It's a smart way to capture their spending power.
As I observed, if you're not making money in this town, you'll end up spending what little you have, and eventually, you'll get hungry and end up begging! Everyone is selling something, and the stores are upgrading. Even the mini supermarket I bought from was impressive, located on a popular street. That's my observation!"
