LABARINA - SERVICE OVER INCOME?
This morning I planned to write to five librarians. As I worked on my tasks, I couldn't help but think about my to-do list, which is filled with services and updates that need to be done. While these tasks are important, they don't generate instant income, which can be discouraging.
Sometimes, I feel the urge to improvise and explore other opportunities that might bring in immediate financial rewards. However, at the end of the day, I remind myself that life is not just about making money. It's also about making a positive impact on people's lives.
I believe that the work I do, even if it doesn't generate immediate income, has value and worth. It's possible that the things I do without expecting financial rewards might be the very things God wants me to do. Perhaps these actions will bring glory and blessings to God, even if they don't bring me immediate financial gain.
This internal conflict has made me realize the importance of patience and wisdom. While patience helps me stay focused on my long-term goals, wisdom guides me in making decisions that align with my values and priorities.
