LABARINA : KEEP TRYING
As I walked back through the community, I overheard a conversation between two young people. One of them, a teenager, was expressing his determination to not give up, to keep trying. The other person was encouraging him, urging him to persevere.
As I listened, I realized that the teenager's efforts were focused on winning over a girl. He was trying to convince her to be his girlfriend. It struck me as a burdensome pursuit, one that seemed to be driven by a desire for validation rather than genuine connection.
I couldn't help but feel a sense of concern, wondering about the values and priorities that were driving this young person's actions.
