I refuse to believe that the harsh situation in Nigeria is the sole cause of the greedy behavior amongst us. This mentality has been ingrained in us, even during times of economic prosperity. Was it hunger that drove BAT to treat us this way? I think not. What about the Senate President and many others? People say GEJ tried, but didn't he also misappropriate government funds? And what about OBJ? Is he exempt from criticism? The truth is, we're all guilty. Whether it's stealing ten naira or one million naira, we're all thieves in the eyes of God. We steal in church, at work, and even from our family members. Our greed starts from our mother's purse and pot. We need a personal overhaul. The change starts with you and me. We must confront our own flaws and weaknesses before we can demand change from others."
