LABARINA 

"I laugh when people say 'I don't want this' or 'I don't want that', because often they're denying their true desires. A former witch doctor shared an insightful story about a devoted pastor who spoke against money due to his poverty background, but secretly craved it. Despite his outward rejection, he was eventually consumed by his love for money.

As Dr. Myles Munroe said, 'Money isn't evil, it only reveals how evil you are.' It exposes our true character. Don't boast about your self-control until you're faced with the temptations of Money, Power, and Sex on a silver platter. That's when you'll realize the need to surrender fully to Jesus.

This reminds me of the Bible verse in Romans 7:15, 'I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do. But what I hate, I do.' Our actions often contradict our words.

As Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, 'Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.' (Paraphrased)

Let's be honest with ourselves and acknowledge our true desires, surrendering them to Jesus for true freedom and rest."
