LABARINA - MANY WIVES
"A friend shared a story about a wealthy man with multiple wives and children. When his children came to him, he couldn't even recognize them or keep track of who was who. He asked them what they wanted, and when they mentioned school fees, he claimed he had no money but would somehow figure it out. I find this story both pathetic and relatable to Solomon's story in the Bible. Despite having many wives and children, Solomon's father, King David, still recognized and chose him to succeed him.
This encourages me because, just like Solomon, we may face challenges or have uncertain beginnings, but we can still make a difference. Even if we come from a family with multiple wives or children, or if we were born out of wedlock like Jephthah, who was later chosen by God to lead the people, we can still succeed. Don't give up, no matter what others say or what challenges you face. You can still make it!"
